Why double-wall stainless steel?
Two stainless steel walls give this plate its substantial construction. The food-contact surface is Type 304 (18/8) stainless steel, and three compartments keep foods separate during self-feeding.
The silicone suction base removes for cleaning and for use at the table as your child grows. Plate weight: 13.80 oz.
Materials & independent safety testing
Avanchy's September 2026 independent laboratory report names our stainless steel plate, bowl, cup and spoon/fork line. The tested metal was identified as AISI 304 stainless steel.
The submitted metal and silicone samples passed the report's requested lead and soluble-heavy-metal tests. BPA and the specified phthalates were not detected in the tested silicone at the stated detection limits. The silicone also passed the tested repeated-use food-contact extractives requirements.

Will this plate fit our high-chair tray?
Measure the flat eating area inside your tray's raised edges. This round plate is 8.5 inches across and 1.5 inches tall. The plate must fit within that area, with the entire suction base resting flat. Tray shapes and surfaces vary.
How do I help the suction base stay put?
Start with a clean, smooth, flat surface. Attach the silicone base correctly, then press down to form a seal. Crumbs, uneven surfaces and textured trays can affect suction. Suction helps steady the plate, but does not make it impossible for a child to lift.
Lift the silicone release tab to break the seal when the meal is finished.
Cleaning & everyday care
Dishwasher-safe. Remove the silicone base to clean both pieces separately. Do not use in a microwave or oven. Check food temperature before serving and supervise your child during meals.
